Principle of operation
Reverse osmosis is a new membrane separation technology developed in the 1960s, which relies on reverse osmosis membranes to separate solvents and solutes in a solution under pressure.
To understand the principle of reverse osmosis desalination, we must first understand the concept of “osmosis”. Osmosis is a physical phenomenon, when two kinds of water containing different concentrations of salts, such as a semi-permeable membrane separation will find that the salt content of the water will be less than a link through the membrane seepage to the salt content of the water, and the salt contained in the water and does not penetrate, so that, gradually, the salt concentration of the two links of the melting and to the same until the end of the concentration. However, it takes a long time to complete this process, which is also called natural osmosis. But if the water side of the high salt content, try to add a pressure, the result can also make the above osmosis stop, then the pressure is called osmotic pressure. If the pressure is increased again, can make the water to the opposite direction of infiltration, and salt remaining. Therefore, the principle of reverse osmosis desalination, that is, in the water with salt (such as raw water), applied to the pressure than the natural osmosis pressure is greater than the pressure, so that osmosis to the opposite direction, the water molecules in the raw water to the other side of the membrane, into clean water, so as to achieve the purpose of removing the salts in the water, this is the principle of reverse osmosis desalination.
Pre-treatment system
As the basis for the production of water purification is very important. So to produce purified water must be to choose the place where the quality of raw water is better. Such as springs, deep wells and so on. Here involves a very important index is “conductivity”. Generally speaking, the lower the conductivity. The purer the water. Water treatment process are used in the reverse osmosis system. After treatment, the water can generally reach 90% - 99% desalination rate.
1.raw water pump
Raw water pump is for the raw water pretreatment system to provide the role of raw water pressure. If the raw water pressure can be completely without this equipment. General requirements for raw water pressure >= 0.3MPa
2.Peck raw water tank
Raw water tank role is more simple, is the storage of raw water. This is afraid of raw water in case of supply for a transit (usually add a float switch is a higher degree of automation of the entire system).
3.quartz sand filter
Quartz sand filter media to remove large particles of suspended solids in the raw water, sediment, impurities, etc., to reduce the turbidity of the water. And also can make the water organic substances, bacteria, viruses, etc. with the reduction of turbidity is removed in large quantities, and to create good conditions for post-filtration disinfection.
4.Singed activated carbon filter
Using the adsorption capacity of activated carbon to effectively adsorb organic matter, free residual chlorine, colloids, particles, microorganisms, some metal ions and decolorization of the raw water.
5.Careful softening system (dosing system)
The use of ionic resin exchange performance, remove calcium and magnesium ions in the raw water to prevent the subsequent equipment to produce the impact of scale, but the operation of labor, materials. It becomes a dosing system to add scale inhibitor directly.
Reverse osmosis system
Reverse osmosis system is the core component of the whole water purification system, only through reverse osmosis to achieve the standard of water purification. The reverse osmosis system mainly adopts the membrane filtration process. Then water molecules can pass through the reverse osmosis membrane. Some other ions such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, etc. are discharged with the wastewater. The following components of this system.
1.Precision filter
Mainly filter large particles in the water molecules.
2.Piece of special high-pressure pump
Provide strong power for reverse osmosis equipment.
3.Reverse osmosis membrane
Reverse osmosis membrane is a membrane filtration technology. Let the water molecules through some other ions can not pass to achieve the purpose of water purification.
Auxiliary system
Some other auxiliary systems such as, ozone sterilization system, light inspection, filling system. Ultraviolet light can also be used to sterilize, and the UV light will not have any residue.
